Ironpillar born Jason Whyms August 18th 1979. Raised in Ozone Park, Queens N.Y. I Started rapping in Junior High School 210 (Elizabeth Blackwell), with my class mates and got positive feedback. I Kept emceeing and djing through out high school. After graduating from John Adams H.S. I attended Five Towns college. In 2002 I started working for my cousin putting up garage doors and bought studio equiptment. My first drum machine was a Rowland sp808ex. I eventually went digital when I purchased my first copy of FlStudio 3. I made lots of beats but I started getting better when I listened to the Alchemist. The way he flips his samples are rediculious, he performes surgury on his chops before sequencing. Yo Alc! Thanks for signing my ASR 10 with Havoc. Mobb deep moved into a studio in my hood and I meet their engineer Joe (HiTech) Protools. Ever since then I've been recording in my crib with Protools. In January 2011 I recorded my debut album "Bread For The Masses", which represents "making diciples of all nations". Matthew 28:19. About six months later I recorded my second album "Illegal Doe" which represents "Such is the end of all who go after ill-gotten gain" Proverbs 1:19. I'm always tring to improve my flow and make new beats. My advise for those who are new to rapping is to "be your self". People will respect you if you don't lie about stuff that you don't do. "Keep it real". Also if you feel that where you came from had an influence on you then "give back to the hood". Give a free "charity" show or invest money back in your neighborhood. "Give props to the vets", if it wasn't for them we wouldn't be here today. "Be original", if someone did it already then don't bite. Try something new. "Don't be afraid to do you", make your mark. Like Emenim said "Loose your self in the music". "Be creative", be lyrical and flip crazy metaphores, similies and rhyme schemes. And most important "stay away from beefing with fellow rappers", we are all God's children. We're supposed to be living in unity together, overlook offences and "love your neighbor as yourself". R.I.P. Biggie and 2Pac.
